Shalimar Carpet Shop was established since 1995. But we have been in carpet business for more than 25 years. The shop was founded by Mr.Gulam Butt and Mr.Umar Wong in 1982 name Thai-Pak International limited partnership. By that time, it was recognized as one of very first hand-knotted oriental carpet shop in this country. With the professional salesmanship, Mr.Butt and Mr.Wong had made the shop was one of the best carpet shop in Thailand.
We, not only making hand-knotted carpet business become well-known among Thais and foreigners who lived here, but also giving a lot of knowledge about carpets to Thai society.
In 1994, the shop was renamed as Shalimar Carpet due to new management of business.Today, we assure you that we are still the best and the most ancient carpet shop in this town because it is already 2nd generation business and with all of carpet experiences which had inherited from generation to generation over the pass 25 years prove itself that we are the most successful carpet shop in this country.
